Freelance Junior Developer (AI-Accelerated)

We are looking for developers who love using AI to build websites and web apps fast. In this role, you will use modern AI coding assistants (like smart code editors and AI co-pilots) to speed up your coding, and connect applications to AI models. If you are excited about using AI tools to build products faster than traditional coding, this role is for you.
Working Location: Work from Home
Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 MMT (12:00-13:00 Break) [Negotiable]
Weekend & Public Holidays: According to Japanese Calendar
Fees: JPY220/hr and above
▪ Collaborate directly with the Engineering Manager to execute diverse development, automation, and system integration projects.
▪ Develop, operate, and maintain modern websites, utilizing AI-friendly formats (e.g., Markdown) and modern architectures.
▪ Automate internal workflows across various departments using relevant APIs.
▪ Utilize AI coding assistants and LLMs to accelerate code generation, debugging, and deployment.
▪ Continuously monitor, test, and implement emerging technologies and development standards to ensure our tech stack remains ahead of the curve.
Required Skills & Qualifications
▪ Mindset: A relentless drive to learn new technologies, experiment with cutting-edge tools, and solve complex problems. You do not need decades of experience, but you must possess a logical, solutions-oriented mindset.
▪ Core Technical Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of web development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) and scripting
▪ AI Fluency: Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI tools (Claude, Gemini, etc.) in day-to-day coding and problem-solving.
▪ Automation: Basic familiarity with or strong eagerness to learn Google Apps Script
▪ Language Requirements: English is mandatory. Japanese will be a plus.
